Driving from Ouarzazat through the gate of the great sandy desert of ” Mhamid”, you will cross the spectacular view of “Draa Valley” and the green "Oasis of Tamergroute." Just 18km away from Zagora there are exotic, tall "palm trees" which tend to hug the sun in the yellow-red sky at the sunset and dance in the breeze of spring. The "Zaoyah nasseria" located in the oasis has an "11th century Koranic library" with thousands of volumes written on gazelle skin and the "Amridil Kasbah" of 17th century. The high road of Djebel Zagora brings you to "El Kelaa Mgouna, the “town of Pink Roses” where "the Rose festival" takes place every May. The great "Earthen Kasbahs of Boumalne du Dades" are clasping the sky above the "Todra Gorge". Todra Gorge is a canyon shaped by higher ochre-colored cliffs at the entrance to Tineghir village which also has "traditional kasbahs "and magnificent "palm groves".
